WHERE CAN WE DO THE SHOOT?
One of our top priorities when it comes to location is good lighting. But there are other considerations especially if you are a bigger group, or will be having elders, kids, or newborns join the shoot - such as convenience and safety.
The weather should be considered as well. For instance, if your shoot is scheduled during the rainy season, you may opt to choose an indoor location or one that has an indoor option as a back-up.
Here are some possible shoot locations:
1. Your own home 2. Your choice of indoor studio 3. An outdoor setting - gardens / parks 4. Restaurants / Hotels / Airbnbs
Some locations require permits, so be sure to check that as well!
HOW MANY CAN JOIN?
There is no limit as long as the space we have allows it and the time allotted is enough to cover different variations and combinations for your family portraits.
Oh, by the way, bringing your pets to join the shoot are highly encouraged! They are part of your family, after all!
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Your outfit should reflect your personality. It is also best to make sure that it complements your chosen location. For example, summer dresses and light fabrics may best suit outdoor locations such as gardens, beaches or parks!
We usually recommend sticking to a specific color palette such as neutrals or pastels. As much as possible, avoid large logos and heavy patterns so as to create more timeless images.
